This project focuses on providing support and rehabilitation to three disabled siblings, all from one family. While two of them are blind, one is a physically challenged girl, who looks after her two younger siblings. They lost their father when young and the mother has been providing sustenance for them, doing domestic chores. This project will help raise funds to provide for their medical needs and also for their sustenance.
Challenge
All three children in the family are disabled. One boy is blind and has urinary infection which needs a catheter and connected equipment, the girl is stone blind and the older sister is physically disabled affecting her mobility.
Long-Term Impact
This is a long term process of support and care to the disabled children. The rehabilitation and training will continue for as long as the children are alive. Sociatal understanding and acceptance of such situation goes a long way in helping such families to cope with the disasters of life over which they have no control.
