Impact Youth Foundation is building a Junior High block in the village of Ayenya, providing free and quality education for junior high school students at the Ayenya District Assembly Basic School.
Challenge
Ayenya District Assembly Basic School is currently struggling with infrastructure to provide its junior high school students with a safe and quality environment to learn. The school building which was originally built with red clay and straw roofing has not been properly maintained for over a decade and now has become a danger zone for students and teachers who use the space on a daily basis.
Long-Term Impact
The project will provide 300 children and youth with safe and quality educational spaces, that will enhance teaching, learning, and improve students retention in school.
