This project aims for the inclusion and psychological & physical health of the younger generation on wheelchairs. Our physically challenged kids deserve all the financial and logistic support to help them be independent, empowered, and self-confident to face the world and be effective members in their society. This project aligns with the following U.N. Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-being Reduced Inequalities Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions Partnerships for the Goals
Challenge
Most kids with physical challenges have several difficulties in their inaccessible schools, streets, transportation. Also, they have social challenges dealing with their peers and communities fighting for their rights to be accepted and empowered.
Long-Term Impact
We are making sure that our kids on wheels are involved in sports & Arts activities; ensuring their schools are accessible & are using proper measured kids wheelchairs. Families & parents networking is a key factor as well especially single mothers to be able to support and connect effectively with their kids.
