We supply tablets and connectivity (either 4G or WiFI) to children that doesn't have access to virtual education due to their household income and the COVID - 19 isolation conditions. We will enable their education and reduce school drop-outs by up to 40%.
Challenge
There are hundreds of thousands of children of all ages in Colombia that doesn't have internet connectivity nor access to virtual education. Covid-19 has isolated even more these children and families depriving them of the possibility of accessing virtual education. Each day more and more of these children are left out of the educational system making it really difficult to progress in their communities.
Long-Term Impact
The project will allow at least 60 children and their families living in rural areas of Colombia or living in orphanages, to have continuous access to internet and to the virtual public education system. This will allow the kids to become productive individuals and positively contribute to their communities.
