Fundacion Proyecto Maniapure is an NGO with more than 25 years of experience that provides health and education to indigenous and creole communities in southern Venezuela, specifically in the state of Bolivar, Venezuela, in the districts Cedeno and Gran Sabana. The funds raised through this campaign will help FPM continue to provide healthcare access to underserved, remote communities in different rural healthcare centers, especially at the Centro La Milagrosa, which is our pioneer center.

Challenge

Fundacion Proyecto Maniapure supports more than 30,000 people in remote communities in the southern region of Venezuela. These communities are difficult to reach and lack access to healthcare services. Not all of these communities are accessible by car; some are only accesible by small airplanes or by boat in what is known in Venezuela as 'curiara'.

Long-Term Impact

Fundacion Proyecto Maniapure is able to provide healthcare access to more than 10,000 individuals through medical consultations, procedures, programs, telemedicine access, and continued treatment for their medical conditions.
