The unsolicited entry of COVID-19 pandemic in the community needs best of humanity to overcome. The Corona virus took away thousand of lives all over the world. It spreads in such a way that we are unable to control it. We do not have medicines to cure. In India, there is a big threat of spreading fast as our country is thickly populated. Even though the Government of India is taking all precautionary actions, the country is not equipped to handle the tough situation.
Challenge
In Puducherry, there is a big threat for the community especially people dwelling on pavements, daily wage laborers, Construction workers who live with poor health conditions. Since, the epidemic is spreading fast, we may not be able to bring it under control. The government does not have enough number of ventilators and other equipment needed to save lives of victims.
Long-Term Impact
By the efforts of Prime Trust, we are trying to create community who can face future crisis. Regular awareness education to the community on health and hygiene through our staff members will build a strong community
