AHD is working in slum areas of Sindh. The target families are poor low income groups with no education facility, youth girls will be provided with school supplies, uniforms, scholarship for girls ages between 6 to 16 years. AHD wants to provide a facility for the girls student or school drop out with education and skills support for 1,000 youth girls through this project.
Challenge
Women education is very low in slum & rural areas, women and girls are the most deprived, vulnerable & illiterate in low income families, through this project young women ages between 4 to 20 will be provided with educational facilities, entrepreneur skills and small business support to help them to generate income and skills for themselves, AHD will took responsibility for 1,000 young women with education, entrepreneur skills at house hold level.
Long-Term Impact
1000 Girls & young women will be skilled, educated & having small business at their household level & they can easily support their families to generate income as well as women empowerment. the educated and skilled women further will care to send their girls to school.
