This One-Stop-Shop Platform helps victims/survivors of human trafficking navigate systems for tools to ease rehabilitation and restoration to an unimpaired state. We build strong, formidable partnerships with other service providers. In-house we provide life skills education, food/clothes and referral to other service providers for 10 survivors in 6 month. Tools are provided to build capacity and resilience for restoration into normal life.
Challenge
Victims/survivors of human trafficking are constantly returning to their traffickers after rescue because of lack of secured places where they can find safety. Besides, they need a place and persons to navigate them to systems that provide resources needed for them to remain in a safe space, when they do find one. Unless we provide them with resources for restoration to an unimpaired state, we may not be able to protect them from their traffickers.
Long-Term Impact
Through this resource center, victims, who will later become survivors, will be helped through their restoration process to become empowered to join the movement to end human trafficking. They will take leadership roles in fighting against trafficking by giving back to their community. We already see survivors educating community about trafficking and participating in developing training materials for current victims.
