SHINE Humanity's mission is to provide compassionate and sustainable preventive and primary healthcare to the underserved with the help of our collabarative partners in Pakistan

Challenge

Political problems and natural disasters of the last decade have exacerbated challenges to health of mothers and children in Pakistan. Maternal deaths and infant mortality are high due to lack of facilities & services. Inadequate food supplies and poor living conditions created by recent floods worsens the outlook for rural communities which make up 75% of the country. This project improves primary and preventive care for the most destitute women and children.

Long-Term Impact

This program will provide high quality health services that combat maternal and child morbidity and mortality. It will also train local women on preventative health and nutrition and, help educate the community at large.
