In Mexico, domestic violence increased 120% since the COVID quarantine began. The health contingency is already negatively affecting vulnerable families; high levels of stress derived from fear, financial situation and uncertainty culminate in the lack of self-regulatory actions. This adverse effect has a greater impact on GIRLS, YOUNGER BOYS, and PREGNANT WOMEN.
